The Sublime Dragon - The Drug

"..You saw the insights it had given and the lies it had told,
the pain it had driven the pleasures it had sold.

It boasted of its wars and the battles it had won,
the fortunes it had made, the damage it had done.

It kept running.
Dragons never tire.

It danced ahead,it laughed at you,it knew you would fail.
You heard it all,and still became the dragon's tail."

TV A NEW CONTRACEPTIVE FOR POPULATION CONTROL WTF!!!

Health ministry has yet again come into light for all the wrong reasons,Family Planning becoming almost unmentionable in the Indian political discourse after Mr.Sanjay Gandhi's demise.Even as Union Health Minister Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad explains his 'light hearted joke' at his Population Day speech,it has gained much flack.
"When light will reach (villages), 80 percent of population growth can be reduced through TV," he said, adding that the current United Progressive Alliance (UPA) central government is working to ensure greater rural electrification.Does this even make sense? Tomorrow we all shouldn't be surprised if this idea is promoted through all the leading newspapers,on televison, radio and others.
That sex is the cheapest form of entertainment in the villages of India is a truism know to the Indian diaspora but that alone should be sufficient for the Honorable Minister to not make such a comment as a person wanting to procreate will do so and TV will hardly be a deterent. This also sheds light on the lack of commitment of the health ministry to promote its policies,as they have failed to promote the basic family planning model.
On a day when it is of utmost importance to disseminate information about population control awareness messages in the rural area's of the country,it is unfortunate to see that Television is being promoted as a reliable contraceptive. We can only imagine what campaign comes next
maybe employment a cure for aching joints? We can only wait and watch.

Excerpt from the Speech given by Chetan Bhagat at Symbiosis.

"Life is one of those races in nursery school where you have to run with a marble in a spoon kept in your mouth.
If the marble falls, there is no point coming first.
Same with life; where health and relationships are the marble. Your striving is only worth it if there is harmony in your life.
Else, you may achieve the success, but this spark, this feeling of being excited and alive, will start to die.

One thing about nurturing the spark - don't take life seriously.
Life is not to be taken seriously, as we are really temporary here. We are like a pre-paid card with limited validity.
If we are lucky, we may last another 50 years.
And 50 years is just 2,500 weekends.
Do we really need to get so worked up? It's ok, bunk a few classes, goof up a few interviews, fall in love.

We are people, not programmed devices.

"Don't be serious, be sincere."

Start Enjoying from this very moment................"

"We never work too much. We never work as much as we can ,we never work to the maximum potential. The more we work, the more we are capable of working. The less we work, the less we become capable of working. Life has its own logic. If we work hard we will get more energy. If we don't work at all and we avoid it even the energy that we have will disappear. Whatsoever we want to do, we should do it, and should do it to the optimum. Soon we will see that more and more doors are opening and more energy becomes available. Always try to reach beyond our grasp. That is how one grows. If we always try that which we can do, we will always fall flat on the earth, we will not be growing . Try the impossible and it becomes possible and we don't try possible even the possible becomes impossible."

You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams

can't escape the feeling so strong....wondering is my head all wrong!!!

Should i run or should i hide
there's so much to say thats buried deep inside
its only my dreams that you would find
if you thought of looking:if you were ever so kind

i leap i fly i stop i stare
i wonder if you would ever so much as just care
i know you dont see me in that light
i know you have eyes for someone else who's in sight

a dark day with shadows cast which might burst into rain
the smell of the moist earth and the puddles, the stains
words are not enough to say how i feel
is it a dream or is it real?

you seem to shine on ever so bright
maybe i can still be your friend without a rude fight
never faced the bitter fruit of rejection
neither have i been know to feel dejection

glad for the flow of words that never do seem to cease
your actions everyday are nothing but a tease
act first talk afterword and think never
minds' clear in action and words more than ever

dont want to see an end to this beautiful dream
i hope i dont wake up startled nor with a muffled scream!
it aint over till its over they all do say
i hope my hope doesnt end in dismay!

cheers!

Maupassant going mad in a rowboat
Dostoyevsky lined up against a wall to be shot
Crane off the back of a boat into the propeller

the impossibility of being human
all too human
this breathing
in and out
out and in
these punks
these cowards
these champions
these mad dogs of glory
moving this little bit of light toward us
impossibly.

By Charles Bukowski

A thought in my mind for today...

If you would be a real seeker after truth, it is necessary that at least once in your life you doubt, as far as possible, all things.
