More than just a movie... ...

I just watched The Pursuit of Happyness on HBO. Although i wanted to watch this movie earlier,as i've loved all the Will Smith movies that i've watched till date and seem to enjoy them a lot more then most movies. However, i did'nt have the money to watch the movie when it released and later just let it be.The movie is one of the reason's why i write this here in my blog right now. It's amazing how a movie or a song or an incident or some news or anything that you come accross in life can motivate you towards doing things or acting a certain way.I have thought for the most of this day how miserable a feeling it is to sit at home and literally go through a day which is devoid of any real activity and you begin to wonder am i really living my life to the fullest? why isn't my life full of events and people allways all around? i am considered by most to be talkative and fun but what most people don't see is i surround myself with accquintances but i'm never part of a group in full earnestness neither or even if i seem to be i don't quite call on these people when its company that i need. I have very rigid ideals for real friends whom i can call on and the most important criteria is matching wavelenghts and thats a tuff one. This movie just gave me an insight as to how hard life really can be but in the words of Reverend Williams from the movie,"The important thing about that freedom train, is it's got to climb mountains. We ALL have to climb mountains, you know. Mountains that go way up high, and mountains that go deep and low... ...",we have to surmount our difficulties and not just wish them away,we should look at it as an opportunity and get the most out of it.Take it as a learning curve in our lives. The Persuit Of Happyness is a wonderful film and its the most inspiring one i have seen, maybe i say that because i'm fresh from writing it but no matter how many films come along i can say that this one is a 'real' film as 'real' as 'real' gets and it will stay in your heart. It's a must watch and i wish i had seen it before. There's so many lesson's to learn.Lesson's we know already but just need and effective way to get it to us, for us to really go out there and impliment it.So if you're reading this then please watch the movie it's outstanding and a terrific watch. Some Lines which caught my eye:The first is a story that we've all mostly heard, maybe diffrent versions:Christopher:"Hey dad, you wanna hear something funny? There was a man who was drowning, and a boat came, and the man on the boat said "Do you need help?" and the man said "God will save me". Then another boat came and he tried to help him, but he said "God will save me", then he drowned and went to Heaven. Then the man told God, "God, why didn't you save me?" and God said "I sent you two boats, you dummy!" That happens so often in life,to me it has i just keep on waiting for something better to come along but forget for a fact that god helps only those who help themselves and that i should quit waiting around for better things to happen. It does'nt help to keep hanging around for something better to come up its me who's got to make a move for my own good.
Another one was a conversation that Will Smith has with his son Christopher(in the movie):
Christopher Gardner: Hey. Don't ever let somebody tell you... You can't do something. Not even me. All right?
Christopher: All right.
Christopher Gardner: You got a dream... You gotta protect it. People can't do somethin' themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want somethin', go get it. Period.
How true is that? Everyday i walk around life wondering weather i'd do better at other places in other hobbies, somewhere else, some place else with some other people but i have'nt tried and i go through eveyrday wishing i'd have tried and just keep on wishing but i never do it but maybe just maybe, maybe now i will.Yeah,i just might!
Cheers guys!Watch the movie its really good.Bye now.

If you would be a real seeker after truth, it is necessary that at least once in your life you doubt, as far as possible, all things.
