TV A NEW CONTRACEPTIVE FOR POPULATION CONTROL WTF!!!

Health ministry has yet again come into light for all the wrong reasons,Family Planning becoming almost unmentionable in the Indian political discourse after Mr.Sanjay Gandhi's demise.Even as Union Health Minister Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad explains his 'light hearted joke' at his Population Day speech,it has gained much flack.
"When light will reach (villages), 80 percent of population growth can be reduced through TV," he said, adding that the current United Progressive Alliance (UPA) central government is working to ensure greater rural electrification.Does this even make sense? Tomorrow we all shouldn't be surprised if this idea is promoted through all the leading newspapers,on televison, radio and others.
That sex is the cheapest form of entertainment in the villages of India is a truism know to the Indian diaspora but that alone should be sufficient for the Honorable Minister to not make such a comment as a person wanting to procreate will do so and TV will hardly be a deterent. This also sheds light on the lack of commitment of the health ministry to promote its policies,as they have failed to promote the basic family planning model.
On a day when it is of utmost importance to disseminate information about population control awareness messages in the rural area's of the country,it is unfortunate to see that Television is being promoted as a reliable contraceptive. We can only imagine what campaign comes next
maybe employment a cure for aching joints? We can only wait and watch.

A thought in my mind for today...

If you would be a real seeker after truth, it is necessary that at least once in your life you doubt, as far as possible, all things.
